IT Systems Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, maintain and optimize IT systems, including servers, networks, and workstations.
• Monitor system performance and ensure data security, implementing updates as necessary.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls for all IT systems.
• Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
• Install and configure user devices, such as computers and printers.
• Manage internet connectivity and address any related concerns.
• Provide technical support to staff via phone, email, or in person as needed.
• Collaborate with external vendors for specialized support when necessary.
• Assist in the implementation of new technologies and upgrades.
• Document processes, procedures, and system configurations for future reference.
• Maintaining documentation of support requests and resolutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator and IT Support Specialist, or similar roles.
• Strong knowledge of server operating systems, hardware, software applications and networking concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
