Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line technical support to employees, addressing hardware and software issues.
- Respond to IT support requests via phone, email, and in-person, ensuring timely resolution.
- Assist with software installations and updates, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Perform routine system maintenance and backups to ensure data security and system reliability.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement process improvements.
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment and manage IT assets.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols.
- Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2-4+ years of experience in IT support or technical assistance.
- Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems, as well as common office software (e.g., G Suite/Google Workspace).
- Exposure to Cybersecurity compliance (Soc-2, GDPR, CCPA, for example).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work outside regular office hours as required - specifically US Time Zone hours.
- Knowledge of IT security practices and data protection.
