Your Role

The primary purpose of the IT Support Engineer role is to maintain Total Tools IT Infrastructure and systems provide level 1 and 2 support from basic helpdesk resolution and service delivery to tier 2 technical support. This role will support Store and Corporate staff with online, phone and face to face support, covering Network/Microsoft/Laptop and devices/ERP Pronto and general IT assistance

Duties & Responsibilities

The duties & responsibilities within this position include, but are not limited to, the following;

Information Technology

• Level 1 and 2 support of Microsoft systems including account creation, basic security and access.
• General IT support for ERP and corporate systems assisting users where necessary.
• Provisioning of equipment, setup and deploying for users to support them in their duties
• Participate in broader, system related business projects. Develop and report on the status of project resources/deliverable, system performance reviews and post implementation audits
• Build strong relationships with users, IT staff, and management to determine and resolve issues associated with system and network implementation
• Champion customer service and ensure a customer first approach.
• Participate as necessary on the strategic enablement of IT and Digital systems and participate as required.
• Ensure all calls are logged and processed using corporate helpdesk systems.

• Perform all tasks in a manner that will ensure there is no risk of causing injury or harm to self or others
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures
• Provide a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OH&S guidelines, keeping areas clean and tidy
• Notify IT Manager/Human Resources of any potential hazards
  
  

General

• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Other tasks as designated from time to time
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Microsoft 365 Environment,
• Basic networking and monitoring
• Equipment provisioning, setup and deployment
• Pronto ERP experience will be advantageous
• Customer service experience

• Strong problem solving skills
• Experience of the Microsoft environment
• Inquisitive and willing to be challenged
• Strong Relationship Management skills
• Moderate network troubleshooting ability
