What You Will Enjoy Doing
- Install, commission, and maintain the mechanical and electrical parts of machines.
- Perform machine troubleshooting, adjustment, repair and maintenance, and monitor the operational state of all the machines.
- Test or modify developmental or operational electrical machinery or electrical control equipment.
- Ensure that all the machines are running to its optimum capacity with reduced downtime.
- Trouble shooting and repairs (e.g. resetting of alarm, clogged caps / bottles, clean sensor, clean mold, clean water and air filters, tighten loose screws and bolts of mold, handling parts).
- Participates in ISBM and IM-cap change over work activity.
- Checks machine and periphery equipment conditions.
- Records hourly production output, waste, downtime, and reasons for downtime.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) related to machine downtimes and quality issues .
- Weighs scraps, encodes into Alpla Waste system, labels the waste containers.
- Support Packaging Engineer in product development activities (e.g. injection and blowing Trials).
- Observes Safety, 5S and GMP in production areas.
- Fully complies with Food Safety standards and ensures observance of ISO standards in all related tasks and responsibilities.
- In-depth knowledge both in mechanical and electrical technology
- Has basic knowledge in office computer software and the ability to learn how to use maintenance software to input data, research parts or in doing the daily production output
- Knowledge and background in ISO, GMP, HACCP, 5S and Safety are needed
- Good interpersonal and intrapersonal communication skills in order to properly communicate concerns related to production operation
- Can speak and understand English language
