Job Description

This role will entail the implementation of demand-capacity analytics models for forecasting, build analysis, and financial analysis. As a Data Analytics Expert, you'll be responsible for interpreting data, analyzing results, and providing insights to help organizations make informed decisions. Your role involves gathering data from various sources, cleaning and processing it, performing statistical analysis, and presenting findings in a clear and actionable manner.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Applies frameworks for applying business principles and analytics disciplines to enable demand-driven decision making
• Handles forecast models, analysis, insights, and recommendations for Globe’s build plan, business nominations, financial valuations, and capacity planning
• Implements validation of new demand models, e.g., using statistical methods
• Implements latent demand forecasting models and develops demand models using external and internal data
• Implements models to estimate the value of areas of future demand, unknown demand, or competitor assumptions using known demand and market sizing parameters
• Applies frameworks to conduct post-review analysis to calibrate assumptions and improve performance accuracy for future models
• Performs deep dives to validate new demand models
• Collecting, cleaning, and transforming data sets for analysis.
• Analyzing complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Developing predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
• Creating visualizations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve business problems.
• Implementing data quality assurance processes.
• Staying updated with industry trends and best practices in data analytics.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years work experience in data analytics, advanced analytics, data science, or business intelligence
• Work experience in a telco company is preferred; with working knowledge of telco fundamentals or other relevant industries such as finance, healthcare, or e-commerce
• Experience with real-world data sets and exposure to different stages of the data analysis lifecycle is highly desirable.
• Should possess a deep understanding of data analysis techniques, statistical methods, and machine learning algorithms.
• Should also be familiar with data management principles, data governance, and data privacy regulations. Continuous learning and staying updated with emerging technologies are essential to excel in this role.
• Expert knowledge in analytics, visualization, and mapping tools (Python, SAS, SQL, Tableau, R, Google Maps), experience using Alteryx is preferred
• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, IT, or other related courses
• Certifications (Nice to Have): Certified Analytics Professional (CAP), Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate, Cloudera Certified Associate (CCA) Data Analyst, IBM Data Science Professional Certificate
