Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and proactive Business Support Specialist to oversee core back-office functions including document control, administrative tasks, basic accounting, and marketing support. This role is ideal for a well-organized individual who thrives in a dynamic work environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats.
Your Responsibilities
Document Control
- Manage and maintain company records and filing systems (physical and digital).
- Ensure accurate documentation tracking, numbering, and archiving.
- Handle internal and external document routing, approvals, and version control.
- Assist in day-to-day office operations, including procurement and scheduling.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, and manage internal communications.
- Handle correspondence and liaise with vendors and service providers.
- Assist in bookkeeping, petty cash, and expense monitoring.
- Prepare basic financial reports (AR/AP tracking, receipts, and billing).
- Coordinate with external accountants or finance teams for monthly reporting.
- Support content creation for social media, newsletters, and basic graphics.
- Assist in maintaining the website and digital presence.
- Help organize marketing campaigns and events (online/offline).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in a generalist role or in any of the functions listed.
- Proficient in MS Office/Google Workspace; familiarity with marketing
- Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Trustworthy, resourceful, and can work with minimal supervision.
- Work-from-home setup with 2-3x onsite a month.
