Import- Export Staff

About the role

Join the international trade team at Furukawa Automotive Systems Lima Philippines, Inc as an Import-Export Staff. This full-time position is based in Lipa City, Batangas and will play a key role in facilitating the efficient import and export of goods for the company's manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate the import and export of raw materials, components, and finished products
• Prepare all necessary customs documentation and filings to ensure timely and compliant clearance of goods
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics providers to optimise transportation and delivery
• Monitor shipment statuses and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders
• Maintain accurate records and reporting on all import and export activities
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs associated with international trade
• Ensure compliance with all applicable import/export regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

• Strong knowledge of customs procedures, documentation requirements, and trade regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as supply chain management or international trade
