Job Summary

The HRIS Specialist will work under general direction from the HRIS Manager to oversee the day-to-day functions of the HRIS system.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in troubleshooting errors within the HRIS system and escalate as needed to the HRIS Manager.
  • Assist in maintaining a user-friendly library of helpful SOP’s and self- service guides for employees and managers.
  • In partnership with the HRIS Manager, evaluate the HRIS system upgrades and processes for function accuracy.
  • Support data entry quality and initiate changes and improvements as needed.
  • Help maintain user access roles and access permissions with regular testing the access permissions.
  • Write and provide reports to clients
  • Participate in the development and maintenance of HR dashboards and reports using ADP, PowerBI and Excel
  • Conduct regular data audits to ensure accuracy and consistency in systems.
  • Participate in various HR projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Help create cases/service requests with software vendor when necessary and keep end users appraised of the status of their issues/requests.
  • Provide general HR administrative support, including maintaining employee files and HR databases.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in HRIS
  • Proficiency with HRIS software, systems, and data flows.
  • Functional knowledge of ADP Workforce now or UKG is a plus.
  • Advanced skills and proficiency in Excel/Word required.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and complex logic skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
