Now, we’re growing our Bluehost team in Cebu and are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to help shape our HR strategy, build culture, and support our dynamic workforce. This is a key leadership role driving HR operations for our growing Philippines-based team.

What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark

Reporting to the HR Business Partner Director, you will lead the Cebu-based HR function for Bluehost and be a strategic partner to business leaders, ensuring our local policies and practices align with both global frameworks and Philippine labor standards. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, matrixed organization and is excited about building strong teams and culture.

In This Role, You Will

• Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related matters within the assigned business unit.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, offering professional advice and expertise as a trusted HR partner.
• Engage managers to provide leadership and guidance on country-specific policies and processes.
• Use HR data to identify trends, recommend actions, and support strategic decisions.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and proactively assess risks.
• Manage the local HR budget and contribute to employee wellbeing initiatives.
• Proactively support business teams in setting and achieving performance goals, and partner with line management to address performance issues and provide guidance on performance improvement.
• Lead local talent initiatives, including succession planning and high-potential development programs.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to align recruitment strategies, assist with candidate selection, and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
• Partner on training programs to address skill gaps, promote continuous learning, and measure the impact of development initiatives.
• Coach management on employee relations issues, discipline, and personnel changes.
  
  
  

Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.

• Extensive HR Business Partner experience within the Philippine market, ideally with 5-10 years in Tech or BPO Companies.
• Willing to work mid-shift and nighshift hours and open to on-site work setup.
• Deep knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication skills
• A strategic thinker with strong problem-solving, people management, and influencing skills.
• Proven experience in handling sensitive HR matters with discretion and professionalism.
• Experience with shared services and cross-functional collaboration in a global setup.
• Proficiency in MS Office; HRIS experience is a plus.
• A bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field is required; certifications (e.g., SHRM, CHRP) are a plus.
