The HR Specialist is responsible for ensuring smooth and effective HR operations for a specific business unit. This includes handling key areas such as employee performance, compliance with labor laws, and engagement initiatives to help maintain a healthy work environment.
They work closely with operations leaders to implement HR strategies that support business goals, promote employee well-being, and ensure alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
Work Arrangement: Nightshift, 4:00PM - 1:00AM; Office-based Setup
Office Location: 8th floor Skyrise 4B Building, IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City, Cebu

Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive, end-to-end HR support across the employee life cycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee movement, and separation processes
- Own and optimize attendance monitoring and performance tracking, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to key stakeholders
- Lead resolution of employee relations cases, including disciplinary actions, investigations, and grievance handling, in accordance with company policy and labor laws
- Draft and issue legally compliant notices for disciplinary cases, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with DOLE standards
- Manage DOLE transactions and ensure proper documentation and compliance in cases involving labor concerns or employee terminations
- Support the administration of compensation and benefits by ensuring smooth coordination with internal teams and timely processing
- Drive employee engagement programs and wellness initiatives to promote a positive and productive workplace culture
- Act as a strategic HR partner to operations managers by advising on organizational structure, workforce planning, and leadership transitions
- Ensure complete, organized, and compliant employee documentation and HR records
- Collaborate with HR leadership to continuously improve HR processes and ensure adherence to internal policies and labor regulations
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology (preferably Industrial-Organizational), or any related field
- Non-negotiable: 1-2 years of hands-on experience in the following:
- Employee relations case handling
- Drafting disciplinary and legal notices
- Managing DOLE transactions and compliance
- Onboarding and offboarding of employees
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
- Strong conflict resolution, case management, and employee relations expertise
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Proven experience engaging with international stakeholders, facilitating coaching sessions, investigations, or meetings
- Monthly salary of 25,000 + performance incentives
- New hire bonus of 5,000
