JOB DESCRIPTION
This role performs a variety of day-to-day administrative Human Resource Information System (HRIS) functions ensuring data integrity, analysis, processing and reporting of HR data. He works independently under general direction and handles problems and non-routine situations by determining the approach or action to take, and interprets guidelines, procedures, policies, and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and protect highly confidential employee and organizational data with utmost integrity and discretion, ensuring strict adherence to data privacy policies and internal controls. Ensure all data is accurate, reliable, and readily available when needed.
- Manage sensitive HR and organizational data independently, maintaining strict confidentiality—even from team members when necessary.
- Addresses first-level Data Management escalations, providing timely solutions and clear communication to stakeholders.
- Coordinate and execute multiple data-related tasks and projects simultaneously with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Analyze data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for improvement in HR data processes.
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives through Kaizen, identifying opportunities for process optimization and contributing to incremental improvements in data management workflows.
- Works with HR experts from areas like recruitment, learning, compensation, and employee relations to ensure good data practices, improve processes, and solve data issues effectively.
- Develops, maintains, and ensures the accuracy and quality of key HR data sets, reports, and metrics.
- Provides regular reports and handles basic to intermediate ad hoc data requests.
- Support audits, compliance checks, and data validations by preparing accurate reports and process documentation in a timely manner.
- Serves as a subject matter expert on HRIS data processes (e.g., Oracle Fusion), guiding junior team members while maintaining data confidentiality. Supports training and quality improvement by assisting in developing training plans, monitoring progress, and providing timely feedback.
- Bachelor’s degree from a reputable educational institution
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HR data management, HRIS coordination, or a similar role.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions independently.
- Experience working with HR systems, preferably Oracle HCM Fusion or equivalent.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, with strong skills in data reporting and analysis tools.
- Must have strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively via phone or in person
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset, able to work across departments while maintaining confidentiality boundaries.
- Strong attention to detail. Attentive to detail and accuracy, performs quality work, continuously looks for improvements, owns/acts on problems, and seeks opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
- Clearly exchanges thoughts, ideas and messages through written, verbal and non-verbal methods that promote an understanding with the target audience. Creates accurate and punctual reports, shares information and ideas with others in a timely manner. Listens carefully and attentively.
