Job Responsibilities

  • Rewards Program Administration: Assist in the development and implementation of employee reward programs, including salary reviews, bonuses, incentives, and other compensation-related schemes. Ensure that rewards are distributed fairly and in line with company policies, market trends, and employee performance metrics. Collaborate with finance and payroll departments to ensure timely processing of reward-related payments.
  • Recognition Program Management: Design and manage employee recognition programs such as "Employee of the Month," long service awards, peer-to-peer recognition, and other initiatives that foster appreciation for employee contributions. Regularly review and enhance recognition programs to ensure they are effective and align with employee preferences. Facilitate communication of recognition programs across the organization, ensuring transparency and promoting participation.
  • Employee Engagement and Feedback: Gather and analyze employee feedback on reward and recognition programs through surveys, interviews, and focus groups. Use feedback data to adjust programs and improve employee satisfaction and engagement. Partner with the employee engagement team to ensure alignment between recognition programs and broader engagement strategies.
  • Benchmarking and Market Analysis: Conduct benchmarking studies to ensure that the organization’s reward offerings are competitive within the industry. Analyze market trends in compensation, benefits, and recognition programs to identify opportunities for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations to HR leadership on reward and recognition strategies based on market data.
  • Budget Management: Monitor and manage the budget for rewards and recognition programs. Ensure that all reward initiatives are cost-effective and provide a return on investment in terms of employee retention and engagement.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all reward and recognition programs comply with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies. Prepare and present reports on reward program effectiveness, recognition participation rates, and related metrics for HR leadership. Support audits related to compensation, rewards, and recognition processes.
  • Internal Communication: Collaborate with the internal communications team to promote reward and recognition programs across the organization. Ensure that employees are aware of available programs and understand the criteria for earning rewards and recognition. Regularly update the company intranet or internal platforms with information on recent awards, recognitions, and program updates.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to managers and leaders on how to effectively recognize and reward their teams. Offer guidance on using reward and recognition platforms and tools. Ensure consistency in how recognition is delivered across departments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two ( 2)+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on compensation, rewards, recognition programs, or employee engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of reward and recognition best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and present actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
