The Role
The Role
- Supervise, mentor, and develop the HR team, ensuring high performance and effective HR service delivery.
- Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding, to attract and retain top talent.
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, mediating disputes and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Implement performance evaluation processes, providing guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and employee development.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development initiatives for staff.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements.
- Assist in the development and updating of HR policies and procedures to ensure they meet best practices.
- Monitor and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR strategies.
- Promote initiatives that support diversity and inclusion within the workforce.
- You have at least 5 years experience including solid experience in a similar role within Utilities.
- You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
- You are a strong mentor and coach who builds high performing teams
- You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
- Work in a company with a solid track record of performance
