About The Role ….

This position is responsible for providing quality and professional administrative support for the Human Resources Manager whilst assisting in the support/implementation of the company’s policies and procedures.

  • Open and sort all incoming correspondence for attention of the Human Resources Manager.
  • Maintain a logical and up-to-date filing system.
  • Assist and follow up with team member enquires, assist where possible or arrange for response to be provided in a timely manner.
  • Assist in compilation of monthly Human Resources report.
  • Assist with end-to-end recruitment of new roles.
  • Assist with advertising of roles.
  • Assist with collating all information required for potential new starters.
  • Assist with generating employment contracts.
  • Assist with generating new starter packs.
  • Assist with VEVO checks.
  • Administrating onboarding and offboarding processes.
  • Regularly ensure information is posted on intranet &/or intranet board and kept up to date.
  • Assist with managing all employee e-files and ensuring all compliance records and documents up to data.
  • Be fully competent in the use of company software programs and be willing to learn other software programs as necessary to achieve fast and professional presentation of all project work, financial data and correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate file of all expenditure and purchase orders.
  • Support Department Heads in recruitment to meet staffing needs following Elderly Care`s company guidelines.
  • Maintain up to date file of job descriptions and person specifications for all positions in the company.
  • Ensure individual team members files are maintained and regularly updated with all information on file as outlined in the Human Resources policies and procedures and statutory guidelines.
  • Organise and keep records on Company Orientation, Department Orientation and probationary reviews for all new team members.
  • Coordinate the ongoing implementation of the Talent Review System.
  • Assist the Human Resources Coordinator & Business Advisor with employee relations initiatives, administration of the reward and recognition program/s.

Qualifications / Skills

We are looking for an A-star individual, passionate and competent with what they do and bringing the WOW with the following qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Administration (or in the process of studying toward this).
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Human Resources Administration role or Administration role.
  • Excellent communication skills both on phone, written and that can build professional rapport with department managers, leaders and colleagues.
  • Strong administration and systems skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, Mail Chimp, producing reports, drafting letters and auditing files.
