Heavy Equipment Techinician

Qualifications & experience

• Identify problems using the diagnostic equipment and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and assemble heavy equipment, machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
• Keep logs of work and report on issues to immediate supervisor.
• Prepares report on each heavy equipment/vehicles for follow-up actions.
• Perform thorough maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users.
• Handling on-site servicing, diagnostics and repairs.
• Ad hoc duties as and when required by senior management.

Tasks & responsibilities

• Providing service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Handling and managing on-site servicing, diagnostics, repairs and test tasks.
• Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users.
• Keep logs of work and report on issues to immediate supervisor.
• Prepares report on each heavy equipment/vehicles for follow-up actions.
• Performs other related duties that superior may assign.
