Healthcare Data Analyst

Work Set up: Hybrid Work Set Up | Angeles City Pampanga

Work Shift: 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM PHT | Monday to Friday

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Healthcare Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare data to drive business insights, improve patient outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency. The role involves working closely with healthcare professionals, administrators, and IT teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy, and to develop data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze healthcare data from various sources such as electronic health records (EHRs), clinical trials, patient management systems, and insurance databases.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to track healthcare performance metrics (e.g., patient outcomes, readmission rates, etc.).
  • Identify trends and patterns in healthcare data to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and management to understand data needs and ensure alignment with clinical and operational goals.
  • Support clinical and operational teams by delivering insights on cost-saving opportunities, improving patient outcomes, and optimizing healthcare processes.
  • Perform statistical analyses and data mining to support predictive modeling, risk assessment, and patient population health management.
  • Ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR.
  • Document processes, methodologies, and insights in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of healthcare analytics projects and initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to other team members on data-related tools and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Statistics, Public Health, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare data analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or SAS.
  • Experience with healthcare data systems (e.g., EHR, EMR, claims data) and familiarity with medical terminologies (ICD, CPT codes).
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations (HIPAA, HITECH) and data security best practices.
  • Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling using tools like R, Python, or SPSS.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data findings into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data quality and accuracy.
