We are a dynamic and rapidly growing real estate firm based in Atlanta, GA. Our team of 30 dedicated professionals is passionate about real estate and providing exceptional service in the competitive Atlanta market. As we scale, we are looking for a foundational leader to build our HR infrastructure from the ground up while also driving the critical top-of-funnel activity for our long-term rental properties.
### **The Opportunity**
This is a unique hybrid role for a strategic and hands-on leader who is passionate about both people and performance.
As our **Head of HR & Leasing Engagement**, you will be the architect of our Human Resources department. You'll be responsible for everything from recruiting top talent for our Atlanta-based team to fostering a vibrant and engaged company culture.
Simultaneously, you will leverage your exceptional sales and communication skills to be a key player in our leasing process. You will be the first point of contact for prospective tenants, engaging with leads, qualifying them, and converting them into property showings and rental applications. Your work will directly contribute to filling our properties and driving revenue.

### **Key Responsibilities**
**People Operations & Talent Acquisition (70%)**
- **Full-Cycle Recruiting:** Develop and execute a comprehensive recruiting strategy to attract and hire top-tier talent for various roles within our real estate firm in Atlanta.
- **Proactive Sourcing & Engagement:** Act as a "recruitment salesperson" by proactively calling potential candidates and passive leads, explaining the benefits of joining our team, and converting them into qualified applicants.
- **Hiring Process Management:** Manage the entire hiring funnel, from posting jobs and screening resumes to coordinating interviews and extending offers.
- **Employee Onboarding:** Develop a seamless and welcoming onboarding process for all new hires to ensure they are set up for success.
- **Employee Engagement:** Design and implement initiatives to boost team morale, foster a positive culture, and improve employee retention (e.g., virtual events, recognition programs, feedback surveys).
- **HR Administration:** Establish and maintain HR systems, manage employee records, and oversee basic HR policies and procedures.
- **Lead Conversion:** Act as the primary point of contact for all incoming long-term rental leads (from Zillow, Apartments.com, etc.). Your primary goal is to convert these leads into scheduled showings.
- **Prospect Qualification:** Professionally engage with prospects via phone, email, and text to understand their needs, answer their questions, and pre-qualify them based on our rental criteria.
- **Showings Coordination:** Skillfully schedule and confirm property showings between qualified prospects and our on-the-ground team in Atlanta.
- **Application Funnel Management:** Follow up with prospects after showings to encourage them to submit a rental application and guide them through the process.
- **Pipeline Management:** Meticulously track all lead activity, communications, and statuses in our CRM or property management software.
- **Experienced HR Professional:** You have 3+ years of proven experience in HR, recruiting, or talent acquisition, with a strong understanding of the full employee lifecycle.
- **Natural Salesperson:** You are confident, persuasive, and results-oriented. You excel at lead follow-up, building rapport quickly, overcoming objections, and moving prospects through a sales/leasing funnel.
- **Exceptional Communicator:** You possess flawless English communication skills (both written and verbal) with a clear, professional, and engaging phone presence.
- **Tech-Savvy:** You are proficient with modern workplace tools, including HR software, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and ideally, CRMs or property management software.
- **Independent & Organized:** As a remote leader, you are highly self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple pipelines (both candidates and tenants) without direct supervision.
- **Must be able to work full-time during US business hours .**
- Experience working for a US-based company.
- Experience in real estate, particularly in leasing, property management, or inside sales for a real estate team.
- Experience building an HR department from an early stage.
