We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team, playing a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our investment processes. This position involves providing day-to-day operational support in areas such as Trade Matching, Settlements, Post Settlements, Cash Management and Term Loans. Your contributions will be essential to delivering high-quality investment services and supporting our front office and clients. By ensuring accurate and timely trade settlements and resolving issues, you will enhance the efficiency and reliability of our operations, helping to uphold our reputation for exceptional service and operational integrity.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day operational support for Trade Matching, Settlements, Post Settlements, Cash Management, and Term Loans, while prioritizing tasks as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with brokers, traders, custodians, and other third-party vendors to ensure correct trade settlements and resolve any breaks.
- Investigate and resolve trade and cash issues raised by the Front Office, Brokers, Custodians, and Internal Investment teams.
- Develop and maintain enhanced procedures and controls to ensure high-quality services and support for the front office, clients and other business units.
- Engage in cross-skilling assignments, escalate issues timely, propose process automations and maintain strong relationships with Front Office, Onshore and Offshore counterparts.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years related work experience within Trade Support, Middle Office, Investment Operations and or Fund Accounting. Investment certification is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related business course.
- Applicants should be willing to work on a fixed night shift schedule.
- Understands the concepts surrounding Trade Support functions and the Trade Life Cycle.
- Possesses a fundamental understanding of investment transactions, trade lifecycle, and various asset classes.
- Good working knowledge in using Bloomberg, Blackrock and other pricing/data sources.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge regarding Data Management, Pricing, Settlements, Reconciliation, Transactions, and Transfers processes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge in securities instruments and Investment Operational processes.
- Knowledge in BBG, SCD, Custodian Portals is highly preferred.
- Good analytical and diagnostic skills with knowledge and strong ability of understanding process design.
- Excellent communication skills. (verbal, written and reading comprehension)
- Demonstrates strong flexibility in the face of ambiguous situations, shifting demands, and challenging work environments. Uses diplomacy and tact to resolve difficult situations.
- Ability to work in a time sensitive environment, highly trainable and keen attention to details with a strong analytical ability.
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and supervision.
- Capability to resolve complex problems and takes perspectives on existing solutions.
