As part of our client's expansion, we are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Fund Manager & Investor Relations Lead to join our team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for finance, fund management, and building strong investor relationships, this could be the perfect role for you!
Key Responsibilities
- Creating and Structuring the Fund: Collaborate with legal and financial advisors to define the fund’s investment strategy, legal structure (open/closed-ended), and terms.
- Compliance and Regulatory Setup: Ensure the fund complies with local and international regulations (e.g., UAE regulations or others depending on operational jurisdictions).
- Fund Documentation: Draft and maintain critical legal documents such as the Private Placement Memorandum (PPM), subscription agreements, and management agreements.
- Investor Equity and Cap Tables Management: Keep accurate records of ownership stakes, investor contributions, share classes, and changes in ownership while maintaining transparency.
- Profit Distribution: Manage capital gains distributions and investor returns in accordance with the fund’s policies.
- Investor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective investors. Provide regular performance updates and facilitate investor communications.
- Capital Raising Support: Assist with raising funds from institutional investors, family offices, and HNWIs. Prepare marketing materials and investor presentations.
- Working with Auditors: Coordinate with third-party auditors to ensure accurate financial statements and regular financial audits.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial reports, NAV calculations, and fund performance metrics for investors.
- Proven experience in fund management, financial services, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of fund structuring, compliance, and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions (preferably the UAE).
- Experience with investor relations, capital raising, and managing investor communications.
- Expertise in financial reporting, including preparation of NAV calculations and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a track record of working with high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field (MBA/CFA preferred).
