Your Role And Responsibilities
A Quality Engineer with a functional focus specializes in designing and executing testing for applications and systems built using custom technologies. Their expertise spans across all levels of testing, including functional, system integration, and end-to-end testing. They possess deep skills in core testing, technical testing, and business domain/processes, enabling them to create optimized test scenarios, plan testing activities, estimate work efforts, and identify test environment and data requirements. This professional excels in using various testing tools, BDD/TDD approaches, and test accelerators to enhance test efficiency and quality. They are proficient in manual and automation testing, executing test cases, reporting test status, and addressing defects through creation, triage, and resolution. Moreover, they analyze test outcomes using analytical and cognitive techniques to drive continuous improvements.
