Description

We seek a talented Frontend Developer with a strong proficiency in front-end web application development to join our dynamic team. You will work closely with our design, product, and development teams to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions. The role also involves collaborating with our existing Hawaii team, including PM, BA, QA, and current frontend and backend developers. We plan to scale our team in the next 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, efficient, and high-quality web applications.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, project managers, and the existing Hawaii team to deliver seamless and visually appealing user experiences.
• Work closely with an existing frontend and backend team and contribute to scaling efforts.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications are always cutting-edge.
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Frontend Developer preferably in Next.js
• 5+ years in Agile software development.
• 5+ years in API-driven development.
• Experience working with ETL Pipelines.
• Familiarity with Availability Management (Bookings – Hotels, Tours, Activities).
• Experience with integrating third-party services such as FareHarbor, Klook.com, Agoda.com, Trip.com, Amadeus, Booking.com, and Airbnb.
• Database experience with MySQL.
• Open to adopting additional technologies that solve business challenges efficiently.
• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Project Assistant is open to exploring alternative tech stacks as long as they effectively address the current project challenges.
