QUALIFICATIONS
- Male or Female
- Graduate of any 4-year course
- Must have a 2-3 years experience in freight forwarding company
JOB SUMMARY
· Responsible for coordinating and managing service requirements.
· Responsible for the ground coordination with Shipping Lines, Port Authorities, Truckers, Brokers and 3PL Providers
· Responsible for the Dispatching and Documentations
· Responsible for the managing the off-site forwarding agents
RESPONSIBILITIES
ENSURE ACCURACY OF RATES, BOOKING AND SHIPPING DOCUMENTS
1. Procure and negotiate freight rates and se rvices.
2. Organizing and booking of shipments.
3. Coordinates with agents and clients
4. Checks all shipping documents
5. Sending of pre-alert to agents and clients
6. Tracking and tracing of shipments
7. Monitoring the shipments and provide updates to client and agent
8. Forward attachments for billing to Accounting
9. Checks and validates airline and agent charges
10. Encode rates to SAP
11. Identifying cost savings opportunities.
ENSURE THAT ALL SERVICE REQUIREMENTS HAS BEEN DONE
1. Maintaining customers focus on all times and answering to customer’s enquiries using the standard guidelines.
2. Taking ownership of complaint and queries and proactively following through to resolution.
3. Ensuring that all customers’ queries are well-investigated and resolved, and escalating queries if appropriate to supervisor.
4. Perform various customer service activities, including upselling and handling new & existing accounts.
5. Handle client problems, answer general inquiries and complaints.
6. Maintain, grow, and build long term relationships with customers via phone calls, emails, and job quality follow up.
7. Act as a liaison between clients and operations & other departments to ensure efficient service levels are delivered to the clients.
8. Identifying and escalating consistent or recurring problems with the systems functionality.
9. Monitor and coordinate export shipments
10. Prepare monitoring reports
11. Able to work flexible hours when required.
12. Assisting management with any assigned special projects and providing backup to the team manager when required
13. Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
