Job Description
As a Fraud Operations Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Fraud Specialists dedicated to detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities. This role is pivotal in enhancing our organization's fraud detection and mitigation capabilities, ensuring timely response to incidents, and protecting our assets and reputation. You will provide strategic oversight, foster team development, and ensure operational efficiency in a 24/7 coverage model.
Reporting to the Fraud Operations Manager - BetMGM, you will be part of the Risk & Payments Department - BetMGM, who is responsible for leading the team in mitigating risk and preventing fraud losses.

Job Description
As a Fraud Operations Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Fraud Specialists dedicated to detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent activities. This role is pivotal in enhancing our organization's fraud detection and mitigation capabilities, ensuring timely response to incidents, and protecting our assets and reputation. You will provide strategic oversight, foster team development, and ensure operational efficiency in a 24/7 coverage model.
Reporting to the Fraud Operations Manager - BetMGM, you will be part of the Risk & Payments Department - BetMGM, who is responsible for leading the team in mitigating risk and preventing fraud losses.
What Will You Do
- Manage, mentor, and coach Fraud Specialists, ensuring engagement, performance, and career growth through regular meetings, reviews, and disciplinary processes.
- Oversee service levels, handle times, quality scores, staffing, and scheduling to meet team KPIs and maintain efficient fraud operations.
- Lead the analysis and resolution of fraud cases, escalations, and chargebacks using tools and data to identify trends and mitigate risks.
- Design and refine fraud detection processes, implement technologies, and proactively address emerging threats and bonus abuse patterns.
- Maintain high QA scores, lead calibration sessions across teams, and collaborate on training initiatives to improve fraud detection capabilities.
- Partner with relevant teams to address fraud issues and communicate findings and trends to senior leadership.
- Ensure regulatory adherence and provide detailed reports on fraud trends, case outcomes, and operational performance to leadership.
- Demonstrates strong leadership by fostering a culture of continuous improvement, setting clear goals, and driving team motivation and compliance.
- Working knowledge of loss and fraud detection/prevention principles, multiple fraud areas, compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills and can work with minimum supervision.
- Minimum experience of 3 years managing loss prevention, fraud, regulatory compliance, and or security area experience in ecommerce or online gaming industry with at least a year of experience leading a team.
- Proficient in statistical reporting, analysis, and strong knowledge in fraud back office systems.
- Strong knowledge in MS Office, Preports, Back Office, CSM, GeoComply, Kibana and PXP Kalixa.
