Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets within the property. This role ensures that service standards are consistently met or exceeded, staff are well-trained and motivated, and guest satisfaction remains a top priority. This role also involves supervising staff, maintaining inventory, menu creation/development and supporting the execution of events and promotions to drive revenue and enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent
- Certification in responsible alcohol service is a plus, Basic Food handling, First Aid training, and
- others.
- At least 1-2 years experience in F&B operations, minimum (1) year in the required role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
- Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Willing to be assigned in Dumaguete City
Job Responsibilities
Staff Supervision:
• Supervise and provide guidance to F&B staff, including servers,
bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and support staff.
• Schedule shifts and allocate duties, ensuring optimal staffing levels
during peak hours and events.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and provide clear instructions to staff.
• Employee Basic Training, Professional development & Skills Training.
Guest Service:
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by monitoring service quality,
responding to guest feedback, and resolving any service-related issues
promptly and professionally.
• Interact with guests, addressing inquiries, special requests, and
resolving complaints to maintain a positive guest experience.
Operations Management:
• Oversee day-to-day F&B operations, including restaurant, bar, banquet,
and room service outlets.
• Ensure smooth service flow, efficiency, and adherence to established
service standards.
Inventory Management:
• Monitor and control inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies to
minimize waste and control costs.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and procurement to ensure timely
restocking.
Financial Management:
• Assist in managing the F&B department budget, including tracking
expenses, revenue, and cost control measures.
• Prepare reports, analyze financial data, and provide recommendations to
optimize financial performance.
• Basic Costing Knowledge, Cost Controlling, Budgeting & Forecasting.
Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, liquor laws, and
food safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and staff training on safety protocols.
Event Coordination:
• Assist in planning and executing special events, private functions, and
catering services.
• Coordinate event details with clients and oversee the F&B team's
performance during events.
