Job purpose:
The FAS Assistant will provide administrative support for the FAS Department. He/She will do monitoring current inventory, ordering supplies, and scheduling deliveries to ensure that the company has a sufficient amount of necessary materials or equipment.
Who are we looking for:
As a Fixed Assets and Supplies Assistant, you are expected to
- Ensuring that she/he assists the FAS Supervisor in carrying out department tasks
- Support in coordination with Finance, Admin and other departments to ensure integrated internal controls, timely payment of vendors and full, auditable support documentation.
- Ensuring that a transparent and responsive procurement process is implemented and maintained.
- Routine communication, coordination and planning with the relevant requesting staff /programs regarding the order and delivery of supplies.
- She/he will assist in ensuring that all Supplies, services and equipment’s required are delivered in time.
- Support in Establishment and maintenance of ethical, professional working relationships with suppliers.
- Maintain supplier information for regularly purchased items, and be informed of current local market conditions.
- Any other duties or tasked delegated by FAS Supervisor and or FAS Manager
What does it take to be part of the team?
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor's/College Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Administration
- Experience in purchasing is preferred.
- Fresh graduates are welcome!
- Knowledge of procurement processes, policies and procedures
- Strong emphasis on accuracy and detail
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously to meet goals and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and Google Sheets
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Basic mathematical knowledge
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Can relate well with different kinds of people, and take on work with high integrity,
