YOUR ROLE:

  • Prepare profit-share reconciliation for eligible customers
  • Handle queries regarding calculation of Modification and Termination quotes
  • Identify and resolve issues impacting the team and report material findings to the manager

and other key stakeholders - e.g. third-party funder invoicing disputes, incorrect lease overs

and unders, profit and losses on rego and CTP provisions including issues relating to

interstate transfers, negative depreciation

  • Liaise with IT for system issues on behalf of the pricing team - e.g. supply business user

requirements, test all relevant scenarios, coordinate with other stakeholders to work on

process automation

  • Assist in streamlining our quoting processes, particularly for major customers with bespoke

pricing agreements and procedures - e.g. Extension of Flexipoints, Customers with Agreed

Interest Rates, Contract Mod Analysis concerning Residual Values and Written Down

Values

  • Escalate process inefficiencies through the comlaints tool and deliver risk and control

solutions

  • Monitor the status of pricing set-ups and quoting processes to ensure compliance with the

latest customer agreements saved in our shared drive and internal business guidelines

  • Oversee monthly pricing reports, budgetary reports, sales strategy management - i.e

redistribution of budgets through modifying Initialized and Running contracts to incorporate

agreed pricing at contract set-up

  • Introduce multiple clean-up projects to rectify the errors in the system and delegate to the

pricing team as required

  • Develop analytical tools to improve internal processes - e.g. update Pricing calculators

including rego and CTP renewals, align bulk mod template with single mod calculator,

revise Sales request templates and upgrade automated BI reports as required

  • Perform validations for other Pricing members when required - e.g. re-validating quotes

that have been previously presented to the customer, confirming waivers have been duly

completed and signed, conducting research on special pricing/discounts, evaluating pricing

approvals

  • Lead and guide the team when suggesting enhancement of existing business processes

then create and distribute a manual to the relevant stakeholders once finalised as a group

  • Maintain reliability of pricing databases in the system and advise relevant stakeholders as

necessary - i.e. interest rate updates, pricing-related procedural updates

  • Manage the group inboxes and worklist for Pricing to ensure team KPIs are met
  • Provide back-up to the Pricing team when necessary
  • Support the manager and the pricing team by supervising trainings and assorted pricing

projects

What You Need

  • Tertiary qualifications in business/accounting/finance-related

studies.

Essential

  • CPA Certification
  • Prior financial and planning analysis experience
  • Solid financial and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Excel, database management and other MS Office products
  • Experience in running projects

Desirable

  • Knowledge of SQL
  • Prior exposure to Fleet Pricing would be ideal (but not essential)
