Position: Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst
Location: Global One, Eastwood, Quezon City

Position Summary: The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will support the finance team in managing and analyzing financial data, with a focus on agribusiness operations. This role combines the analytical skills required for agribusiness analysis with the accounting expertise needed for management accounting. The FP&A Analyst will assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic planning to ensure the financial health and growth of the organization.

Position Summary: The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst will support the finance team in managing and analyzing financial data, with a focus on agribusiness operations. This role combines the analytical skills required for agribusiness analysis with the accounting expertise needed for management accounting. The FP&A Analyst will assist in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic planning to ensure the financial health and growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis
- Conduct detailed financial analysis of agribusiness operations, including cost analysis, profitability analysis, and trend analysis.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts for agribusiness operations.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Facilitate meetings with key stakeholders, farm manager, regional admins and other subject matter experts to analyse, track and manage performance
- Prepare, review and issue monthly profit and loss reports for each farm and consolidated group
- Financial Reporting:
- Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Cost Management:
- Analyze and monitor costs related to agribusiness operations, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Implement cost control measures and track their effectiveness.
- Data Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and databases.
- Optimise and standardise existing reports, particularly the transition of spreadsheet-based reporting to BI visualisation.
- Utilize financial software and tools to streamline data management and reporting processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience in agribusiness or related industries is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated use of data control and visualisation tools such as Power Pivot, Power Query and/or Power BI
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in analysing and communicating financial information
- Strong proficiency in accounting software, Power BI and Excel including financial modelling
- Ability to manipulate large data sets and extract key insights
- Experience in data visualization and dashboard creation.
- Advantageous to have or willingness to learn programs to optimise business processes such as Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Interest in the application and development of AI tools within Power BI and related business processes.
