The Financial Markets Operations Team supports the Fixed Income and Currencies, Futures, Credit Markets and Central divisions through services including trade verification and confirmation, trade settlement and call account payment services, brokerage invoice and custodian billings settlements and reconciliation of the books and records.
While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in our office location.

What role will you play?
In this role, you will be responsible for validating trade details, pre-matching, ensuring accurate and timely settlement of trades executed by the front office, and processing corporate actions. Additionally, you will identify, escalate and resolve investigations with your strong risk mindset and knowledge in trade life cycle. You will work closely with stakeholders in business, counterparties, custodians, finance, and technology. As the key point of contact, you will ensure that expectations are consistently met.

- Ability to investigate issues and escalate effectively
- A strong focus on teamwork with effective communication skills
- Self-motivated, independent and able to work well under pressure
- Accurate with a good eye for detail and strong commitment to completion and delivery
- Amenable to work on a fixed mid-shift schedule
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
