Finance Controller
Work Set up: Hybrid (twice a week remote work and three times per week office based in Angeles, Clark, or Makati Office)
Work Shift: Monday to Friday (Flexible Schedule)
As a Financial Controller, you are responsible for directing and coordinating financial planning, budgeting, accounting, and reporting functions. You will oversee the preparation of financial statements, monitor cash flow, manage financial risks, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management. You will also supervise the finance team, foster a culture of accountability and efficiency, and play a key role in optimizing the organization's financial performance
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Can develop and implement robust financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections, and coordinate with third-party accounting provider
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to optimize the company's financial operations
- Manage cash flow and liquidity, ensuring adequate funds are available for operational requirements and strategic investments
- Collaborate with internal teams to support decision-making through financial analysis and insights
- Coordinate and support audits, tax filings, and other financial compliance requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, driving performance and professional development
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- With at least 5 years of experience, who can oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting; Well-versed in using QuickBooks and Google Workspace
- Ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively present financial information and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate team members, as well as to foster a collaborative and results-driven work environment
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all financial activities and interactions
