Financial Accounting Analyst (Senior Level)

Job Title: Financial Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Budget Preparation: Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with Project Managers and Business Partners.
• Financial Forecasting: Conduct ongoing financial forecasting to support strategic planning.
• Business Planning: Create comprehensive Business Plans aligned with strategic goals.
• System Management: Input and manage the annual budget in the accounting system for accurate tracking.
• Performance Analysis: Analyze budgeted vs. actual financial performance, identifying variances and providing insights.
• Cashflow Management: Prepare and manage cashflow forecasts to ensure financial stability.
• Monthly Accruals: Process monthly accruals for accurate financial reporting.
• Reporting: Generate financial reports to provide insights into performance.
• Team Leadership: Support and guide team members as needed.
• Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the FP&A Lead.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in financial accounting, finance, management accounting or related field.
• 3 years or plus in financial planning and analysis experience.
• Working experience in an Australian company is preferred but not a must.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Experience with accounting software such as Power BI, Oracle, Xero.
• Advanced proficiency or Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
