Role: Financial Accountant

Work Arrangement: Work from Office

Location: Philippines - Makati/Angeles

Schedule: Morning shift

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare reconciliations for debtors, creditors, intercompany accounts, and bank statements
• Produce month-end, year-end, and board financial reporting packs
• Process invoicing, bank transactions, and GST returns
• Support internal audits, tax reporting, and compliance with Australian standards
• Assist in cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and KPI reporting
• Enhance financial systems, templates, and workflows (Xero, ApprovalMax)

Qualification and requirements:

Essential:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting
• Strong understanding of accrual accounting and Australian financial standards
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and Xero proficiency
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Valid Philippines Police Clearance

Desirable:

• Experience in the NDIS or Australian not-for-profit sector
• Familiarity with grant funding or government contract reporting
• Experience with automated finance workflows (e.g., ApprovalMax)

Non-negotiable skills & requirements:

Essential:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
