Qualifications

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in a finance or accounting supervisory role, preferably within the manufacturing or packaging industry.
  • Proficient in financial accounting, reporting, and analysis with a strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to manage a team and mentor junior finance professionals.
  • Highly proficient in using financial software and MS Office applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the company's financial accounting and reporting, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, and financial statements.
  • Ensure all financial records and transactions are accurate, compliant, and in line with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports and analysis for management, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities to facilitate audits and tax-related matters.
  • Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and development opportunities.
  • Support the implementation of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and controls.
