Job Summary

The Finance Messenger provides essential support to the Finance and Treasury teams by handling the delivery and collection of financial documents, bank transactions, and other administrative tasks. This role ensures that financial operations run smoothly and that all documents are properly filed and organized when not performing messenger duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver and collect financial documents, checks, and other materials to and from banks, government offices, suppliers, and other business partners.
  • Assist in processing bank deposits, withdrawals, and payments as instructed by the Treasury team.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for document routing and signature collection.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive financial information.
  • File and organize financial documents while waiting for treasury-related tasks or during idle periods.
  • Monitor and track all dispatched and received documents to ensure timely completion.
  • Support the Treasury and Finance teams with clerical and administrative duties as needed.
  • Ensure all transactions and deliveries are properly logged and acknowledged.
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned by the Finance or Treasury departments.


Qualification And Requirements

  • At least a High School or College graduate (preferably with coursework in Accounting, Business, or related fields).
  • With at least 1 year of relevant experience as a messenger, finance assistant, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of basic finance and banking processes is an advantage.
  • Trustworthy, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Must have a valid drivers license (if driving is required for the role).
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential documents with discretion.

  • Document Handling & Filing: Skilled in maintaining accurate, organized, and secure filing systems for financial documents.
  • Bank & Treasury Support: Familiar with common banking transactions and treasury operations.
  • Time Management: Efficient in managing multiple tasks and ensuring timely completion of errands.
  • Administrative Support: Competent in document tracking, logging, and record organization.
  • Confidentiality & Integrity: Maintains a high level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive data.
