Finance Controller

Job Description:

• We are looking for a passionate, self-driven and experienced Financial Controller to join the dynamic Finance Controllers team responsible for management reporting and advice function.
• As our Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the whole financial management system of assigned Business Lines in ING Hubs Philippines.
• As financial management is crucial for our company's performance, you will play a big role in company's growth and success.

Key Job Accountabilities:

Reporting to the Head of Finance Controllership, the Financial Controller is responsible for the following duties but not limited to:

• Budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis
• Head-office management reporting
• Business partner for assigned business lines
• Oversee accounting transactions and report financials for assigned Business Lines
• Manage quality control over financial transactions and reporting
• Identify accounting and financial issues and suggest timely solutions
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Focus on continuous improvements and look for efficiencies in our processes
• Provide input and advice on proper financial controls to Head of Business Line, Head of Finance
• Controllership and Chief Finance Officer to support revenue goals and profitability

Education/Experience:

• At least 3 or more years of experience as a Financial Controller or similar role
• 10 years or more of combined experience in accounting and finance
• Advanced degree in Accounting (CPA or CMA preferred)
• Outstanding knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Experience with creating financial statements
• Good understanding of accounting software (PeopleSoft, Planning Analytics)
• Advanced skills in MS office (Excel, PowerPoint)
