Job Overview

The Finance Business Partner plays a key role in improving the organization’s finance operations. This hands-on role focuses on cleaning up financial records, streamlining processes, and driving improvements across accounting functions. The ideal candidate will work closely with various teams, provide actionable financial insights, and support strategic projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • Clean-Up and Troubleshooting
  • Lead the cleanup of financial documents and legacy accounting issues.
  • Investigate discrepancies, reconcile errors, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness in all financial records.
  • Process Ownership and Improvements
  • Take full ownership of finance workflows, controls, and documentation.
  • Identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes.
  • Standardize procedures for consistency, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the finance liaison for internal teams, working closely with operations, procurement, and other departments.
  • Translate financial data into actionable insights to support business decisions.
  • Build strong relationships to ensure alignment and transparency across functions.
  • Strategic Support and Special Projects
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, including systems upgrades, automation, business ventures, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Provide financial analysis and support for new projects or operational changes.
  • Contribute to enterprise-level planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Hands-On Financial Management
  • Support day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring timely reporting and compliance.
  • Assist in audit preparations, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.

What Our Client Is Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls
  • Demonstrated ability to lead clean-up initiatives and resolve legacy accounting issues
  • Proven experience in process improvement, documentation, and workflow standardization
  • Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering skills across departments
