Your Role And Responsibilities
- Primary focus on managing a compliant small business subcontracting program consistent with Federal Government regulations.
- Ensure a compliant small business subcontracting program in support of Client Bid & Proposal activity.
- Has overall responsibility to represent during periodic Federal Government reviews of compliance with small business subcontracting regulations.
- Act as a key point of contact with representatives of Small Business concerns to include various small business types.
- Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with Small Business concerns through regular outreach efforts on a local, state and national level.
- Support Client proposal efforts by preparing Small Business Subcontracting Plan documents as needed.
- Report actual small business subcontracting achievements compared to contractual goals.
- Host and attending outreach events to meet and identify relevant small business subcontractors for potential opportunities.
- Develop and deploy internal advocacy programs to support the utilization of small and diverse-owned businesses.
- Lead routine training sessions for internal and external audiences related to small business subcontracting topics.
- Maintain subcontract files and ensure compliance with Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements.
- Experience with varied content curation (professional email, PPT, contract authoring, etc.)
- Keen attention to detail - speed, repeatability, and formatting consistency
- Advanced small business subcontracting program setup and maintenance experience
- Bid and proposal authoring for federal government (US)
- Compliance management with subcontracting programs (i.e. CPSR)
- Experience maintaining and growing small business engagement and outreach
- Strong reporting and organizational excellence for an executive audience
- Experience with demonstrations to an executive audience
- Excel, data manipulation and analytics proficiency
