Expression of Interest - Secondary and Control Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Secondary and Control Design Engineer to join our Energy Business Group.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality projects for our internal and external clients, with an emphasis on continuing development and becoming professionally recognized in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general secondary substation protection and control engineering tasks, including design calculations, data analysis, and using software to undertake engineering design.
• Prepare and write technical reports, such as setting reports and protection coordination studies.
• Undertake field testing or site-based investigations, compile data, and assist with analysis and evaluation.
• Coordinate site or field technical activities, including field testing or investigations, analytical setup, and managing subcontractors.
• Arrange and participate in hazard identification and risk assessment activities.
• Consult with design stakeholders to achieve best-for-project outcomes.
• Explain technical information to stakeholders.
• Support and coach less experienced team members.
• Occasionally take on the role of Project Manager for routine projects, responsible for project documentation and managing client interactions.
• Assist with the preparation of proposals and pricing for routine projects as required.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years’ relevant experience in secondary and control design engineering.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and support less experienced members.
  
  

Location: This role is based in our Makati/Cebu/Quezon City office in the PH Region.
