Job summary

Lead and work closely with different stakeholders in purpose to deliver different projects. Accountable for strategically planning and implementing channel marketing support, including tracking of actual trade spend against budgets and reporting of progress.

General Responsibilities

• Support superior in managing day-to-day operating expenditure against operating budgets to ensure efficient usage of resources
• Implement trade marketing plans for relevant channels and product categories to achieve defined business objectives
• Conduct market research on market trends/sentiments, consumer behavior, competitor information, etc. and provide analysis as inputs to marketing plans
• Track monthly actual trade spend against sales and analyze return on investment of each trade activity. Accrue and track trade marketing expenses according to existing plans
• Implement trade marketing standardized processes, tools, administrative activities (including approvals), etc. for smooth execution of trade marketing activities
• Execute and track progress of below the line marketing campaigns and go-to-market activities, including in-store promotional initiatives
• Provide sales and trade spend analysis by channels, product categories, etc. Supervise feedback gathering from various sources on trade marketing plans effectiveness
• Work closely with internal stakeholders in the execution of trade marketing initiatives to ensure holistic integration of efforts to meet customers' needs
• Work closely with clients and vendors to ensure execution of trade marketing plans (e.g. merchandising/planograms, trade promotions, in-store execution, etc.)
  
  

Requirements

• Demonstrate a good working knowledge and understanding of the business and industry, including product categories and channels
• Demonstrate a good working knowledge in marketing planning, market research and demand forecasting
• Demonstrate basic research and analytical skills
• Demonstrate fluency in local language and ideally in English, both written and spoken
  
  

Degree or professional qualification in Marketing/Economics/Business Administration or a related discipline.

Minimum two to five years’ experience in a similar role
