About the Role
This newly created Entry Level SDR role sits within a dynamic team in a fully remote work environment. Reporting to the Head of Sales – Platform, you’ll have a clear focus on achieving outcomes and will be supported and empowered to work effectively within our framework to meet your targets.
As an SDR, you will uncover sales opportunities by generating and qualifying leads to support the broader sales team and build a strong pipeline. You will engage potential clients through various cold outreach methods—primarily cold calling—to identify client needs and introduce our solutions, generating interest and creating valuable opportunities for Compono.

You’ll play a vital role in generating opportunities and scheduling appointments that contribute to the success of the wider sales team.

Extra points for the following:
- Experience working in a technology sales environment (SaaS experience highly regarded)
- Experience in Sales, Inside Sales, Recruitment, or Telemarketing with a focus on cold calling
- Hands-on experience with prospecting and outreach tools and channels (email, cold calling, social), plus CRM and prospecting data systems
- The ability to assess, identify, and qualify leads to generate new business opportunities
- Experience with market research, prospecting, and appointment setting
- Strong phone presence with excellent listening and comprehension skills
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationship
- Familiarity with HR, Recruitment, or Employee Engagement software
Key Responsibilities
- Market mapping, research and outbound prospecting
- Conduct high-volume sales activities and cold outreach to identify and qualify new business
- Engage with leads to understand their needs and assess fit to Compono’s ideal customer profile
- Schedule appointments, sales meetings, and demos for the sales team
- Build and nurture relationships with prospects
- Maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM and share customer insights with the team
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for calls and appointments set
- While you won’t be responsible for closing deals, your role is essential in ensuring the sales team has a steady pipeline of qualified leads—improving overall sales efficiency and scalability.
Role Benefits & Work Arrangements
- Competitive base salary + generous uncapped commission structure (details discussed during the recruitment process) - 70% base / 30% commission split
