JOB SUMMARY:

The Engineering & Service Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of the Engineering Department, ensuring efficient delivery of aftersales services, equipment maintenance, and customer support. The role involves leading service teams, managing contracts and costing, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective technical and operational management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of Engineering, preferably a licensed Mechanical Engineer.
  • With at least 10 years of relevant experience in HVAC, general equipment maintenance, and warranty administration, including 5 years in managerial level role.
  • Well-versed in kitchen, laundry, and air-conditioning equipment.
  • Experienced in aftersales operations, spare parts management, target setting, contract negotiation, inventory forecasting, and accounts receivable oversight.
  • Demonstrates strong customer service orientation, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly in MS Excel.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plans, organizes, and coordinates all aftersales functions within the department.
  • Maintains effective communication and coordination with both customers and suppliers.
  • Prepares and consolidates parts sales forecasts for the division.
  • Handles and negotiates service agreements and contracts.
  • Provides management with updates on escalated service issues and recommends appropriate actions.
  • Contributes to the formulation of short- and long-term business plans, including forecasts and other management reports.
  • Prepares and/or reviews costing and pricing to ensure profitability and competitiveness in biddings.
  • Oversees credit and collection activities, ensuring timely collection of accounts receivable.
  • Hires, trains, and supervises qualified personnel to ensure efficient customer service delivery.
  • Coordinates closely with customers for installation and maintenance of major equipment until completion and commissioning.
  • Plays an active role in finalizing and closing sales negotiations and contracts.
