As an Electrical Engineering Professional, you will be an integral member of the engineering and design team, counted on to perform a significant portion of Piping engineering and design for our projects. You will need strong communication and interpersonal skills as you work closely with your Electrical Lead, other Electrical Engineers and Designers, and other disciplines.

It is expected that you have a solid foundation in the fundamentals of Electrical Engineering, knowledge of multiple subject areas, experience with specific codes applicable to Electrical, understand how Electrical design integrates with and impacts other disciplines. Here's what you'll need

Under general supervision, competently perform all conventional aspects of Electrical Engineering and design

  • Understand project and client requirement for electrical engineering discipline.
  • Develop and prepare single line diagrams, schematics and protection scheme for electrical power generation and distribution equipment/systems
  • Well-verse in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam Revu, Smart Sketch, Smart Plant 3D, Dialux and AGI 32 Software
  • Power, lighting, and grounding & lightning design.
  • Recognize and communicate scope and design changes promptly.
  • Provide guidance to a designer and drafter and coordinate work activities with other staff members and other discipline.
  • May be involved in LV design and Medium Voltage Power distribution designs.
  • Knowledge with Article 500, Hazardous (Classified) Locations.
  • Knowledge and application of the National Electrical Code (NEC), Philippine Electrical Codes and Philippine Distribution Code and other international codes and standards.
  • Perform zonal cavity and point-to-point lighting level calculations.
  • Size wire / cables, conduit and overcurrent protections.
  • Able to route conduit and cable tray, calculate tray fill.
  • Familiarity with specifications and installation details of construction bulk materials and equipment.
  • Able to determine load center unit substation loading.
  • Knowledge and understanding of workflow/information flow between disciplines.
  • Support in sizing power distribution systems including transformers, substations, switchgear, generators & ATS, distribution and branch panels.
  • Produce installation details, motor control center single lines, electric room layouts, motor control elementaries, connection diagrams, cable schedules, control panel layouts and grounding, lighting, power plans under minimal supervision.
  • Develop equipment specifications for LV equipment such as transformer, motor control centers, variable frequency drives, induction and synchronous motors, load center unit substations, etc.
  • Able to determine construction material quantities.
  • Knowledge and understanding of work flow/information flow between disciplines.

  • You may be given tasks with ill-defined conditions of satisfaction; in which case you will be expected to take the initiative to determine what is needed to meet the project and client needs.
  • Be ready to identify scope change and escalate it to your Electrical Lead or Project Manager.
  • Recognize when help is needed, reaching out to peers and senior engineers for guidance.
  • Work in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner with strong attention to detail.
