Who are we looking for?

We are looking for Electrical Designers/Drafters to join our DW PH Energy Group team that draw on technical knowledge, experience and existing company standards, client technical standards, current and emerging industry standards and technical bodies to set clear boundaries (operating procedures, processes and standards) within which local team or service line teams will execute their tasks.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Drafting/design of substation secondary drawing packages
• Markup and QA of substation secondary drawings
• Assistance with drafting on other substation design disciplines including primary, automation and communications
• Mentoring of junior designers/drafters
• Project coordination of secondary designers and tracers
• Work with an extended multi discipline team of engineers
  
  

What you will bring to the team:

• 5-10 years of relevant experience working in the consulting industry, where performance has met/exceeded expectation
• Experience working with Power Utilities
• Demonstrated experience working for Western Power or on Western Power projects would be advantageous
• Experience in substation secondary design/drafting for substations 11kV to 330kV
• Experience in substation automation and communications design/drafting would be advantageous
• Knowledge of transmission substation protection schemes and IEC61850
• Understanding of Substation AC and DC auxiliary systems
• Motivated team player with the ability to work autonomously
• preferably with microstation software experience
  
  

This job offer can be based either in Makati or Quezon City.
