As a Draftsperson, Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Preparing technical drawings for manufacturing, engineering review, and approval of new design developments.
- Initially focusing on the preparation and review of shop drawings for various projects, with the opportunity to progressively take on more complex design tasks, including product improvements and innovation.
- Creating various types of technical drawings, such as workshop, concept, and construction drawings.
- Producing Bill of Materials (BOM) and associated files to support the delivery of drawings.
- Managing models and files, ensuring they are properly checked in to the Vault system to maintain up-to-date and accurate information.
- Modifying models and drawings to accommodate project-specific design requirements.
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of a standardized library of component drawings.
- Collaborating with senior team members to implement systematic product improvements across the product drawing library.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Civil Construction Design/Engineering
- Associate Diploma in Mechanical/Structural/Civil Engineering
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering
- Additional Requirements:
- Must provide a drafting portfolio prior to the interview
- Experience with SolidWorks is required
