Location / Shift Mabalacat Office, Night Shift NOTE: You must be willing to work in the office in the above office location to apply for this position Job Description The Draftsman we are looking for will be responsible for preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with SolidWorks systems. You will also be responsible for performing calculations for materials and weight limitations. Key responsibilities:

• Communicating with Senior Design Engineer, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
• Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team.
• Create engineering drawings and designs for production and quality and tooling
• Create design specifications, documentation, and material lists
• Estimate material and production costs for designs
• Verify drawings are correct to specifications, codes, and other regulations
• Developing technical reports for engineers
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering
• At least 1-3 years of experience in Product Development or related field
• Strong proficiency in design software (SOLIDWORKS) for creating, modifying, and managing both 3D models and 2D drawings
• Working knowledge of metal and plastics fabrication (i.e., welding, chemical and mechanical fastening)
• Excellent mechanical, coordination and math skills
• Excellent organizational, management, and communication skills; written, verbal and listening
• Be self-sufficient, have excellent problem-solving skills, and work quickly with extraordinary attention to detail
• Technical Skills –Able to clearly share expertise and transfer technical knowledge to others
• Proven experience in field
• Knowledge of industrial materials (i.e., plastics, metals, composite materials)
• Advanced understanding of metal and plastics fabrication (i.e., welding, chemical and mechanical fastening)
• Communication skills
• Positive attitude towards work
