We seek to develop a dream team of outstanding Expert Research Planner with a passion for investing and technology to supporting Dedale and clients in making multi-million investments in B2B Software.

Your Role:

As Head of Planning (Director of Planning Operations), you are responsible for managing the entire planning department. You will oversee the planning operations, from request allocation to delivery including training, performance management, and people development to ensure the team consistently meets the set objectives.

You will work cross-functionally with senior leaders across Dedale to ensure that Planning team not only supports but also accelerates company objectives. You will collaborate closely with the Planning managers and Team Leaders to set direction, align strategies, and resolve delivery risks early. Beyond project execution, you will play a central role in professionalizing processes, strengthening leadership within the team, and building the operational foundation for scaling.

You Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and oversee the entire planning department.
  • Scale the planning team to meet growing demand, balancing quantitative targets (call volumes, conversion rates) with qualitative excellence (expert quality).
  • Anticipate organizational needs as the business grows and propose structural improvements in team design, tooling, and processes where necessary.
  • Review and improve operational workflows, eliminating inefficiencies and creating repeatable best practices.
  • Communicate regularly with leadership on performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure that the team consistently meets delivery objectives and successfully meets demand across all projects.
  • Develop internal leaders through structured mentorship, training, and performance management.
  • Coordinate with HR to address skillset gaps and support hiring needs.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with other internal stakeholders to align demand projections with planning capacity.
  • Champion the adoption of planning tools and new workflows to embed efficiency and rigor across the team.
  • Serve as a role model in leadership, driving a culture of accountability, adaptability, and continuous improvement.

Your Profile:

  • You have at least 7–10 years of leadership experience in operations, planning, or delivery management roles, preferably but not limited to expert networks, recruitment, consulting, etc
  • Proven track record of scaling and leading teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to improving processes.
  • Excellent people leadership: able to coach, mentor, and inspire teams of varying seniority.
  • Strong cross-functional communicator, can relay strategic direction to senior leaders down to the operations floor
  • You have experience identifying or creating KPIs/metrics to evaluate project performance/task outcomes
  • You have excellent English language skills (oral and written)
