Work Schedule: This is a full-time role (8 hours per day) (France-based)

Salary range: $1,500-$2,500 (proposed) AUD / Monthly

The client is an E-commerce brand.


Role Overview:

To produce high-converting video ads for Facebook and other social media platforms that drive sales and maximize ROI. The video editor will be responsible for creating attention-grabbing, engaging, and persuasive video ads at scale, leveraging direct-response marketing principles, data-driven insights, and rapid iteration.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Creative Output & Efficiency
  • eliver 15-30 new video ads per week, ensuring a continuous flow of fresh content for testing.
  • Maintain a 1-2 hour editing time per video, balancing speed with high-quality output.
  • Efficiently repurpose existing content, UGC, stock footage, and brand assets to maximize creative output.
  1. Performance Optimization
  • Consistently produce winning ads that outperform previous creatives in terms of CTR, ROAS, and CPA.
  • Iterate on existing creatives based on data insights, quickly launching multiple variations (different hooks, CTAs, formats) for A/B testing.
  • Ensure at least 50% of new ads outperform existing benchmarks, continuously refining creative strategy.
  1. Technical Excellence & Quality Control
  • Maintain 100% compliance with Facebook’s ad policies and best practices (e.g., avoiding disallowed claims, ensuring mobile-friendly formats).
  • Deliver error-free, polished videos with clear messaging, strong hooks, and on-brand visuals.
  • Ensure all videos are optimized for sound-off viewing with captions, text overlays, and engaging graphics.
  1. Collaboration & Workflow Optimization
  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand ad performance metrics and optimize creatives accordingly.
  • Receive and incorporate feedback quickly, reducing revision rounds and ensuring timely ad launches.
  • Maintain organized file management to ensure easy access and retrieval of past creatives for repurposing.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Expert Video Editing & Motion Graphics
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and similar editing tools, with an advanced understanding of keyframe animation, color grading, and sound design for high-impact ad production.
  • Ability to create dynamic motion graphics and engaging animations that enhance engagement and storytelling, including kinetic typography, product highlight effects, and animated transitions.
  • Strong command of fast-paced editing techniques, incorporating pattern interrupts, seamless transitions, and visual effects to sustain viewer attention in the first 3–5 seconds.
  • Experience with UGC (User-Generated Content) editing, ensuring raw footage is polished, visually compelling, and optimized for direct-response conversion.
  • Familiarity with AI-based editing tools, templates, and automation techniques to speed up production while maintaining quality and creativity.
  1. Direct-Response Marketing Understanding
  • Deep knowledge of high-performing ad structureis, including effective hooks, social proof, problem/solution frameworks, and strong CTAs.
  • Ability to think like a marketer, ensuring every cut, transition, and text overlay serves a conversion goal.
  1. Social Platform & Format Expertise
  • Strong grasp of Facebook & Instagram ad formats, knowing how to tailor creatives for different placements (Feed, Stories, Reels, etc.).
  • Ability to create mobile-optimized (1:1, 4:5, 9:16) videos that align with user behaviors on each platform.
  1. Creative Storytelling & Engagement TechniquesM
  • astery of fast-paced editing, pattern interrupts, and reset moments to maintain viewer attention.
  • Ability to turn raw footage into persuasive narratives, effectively showcasing product benefits and use cases.
  1. Data-Driven Iteration & Testing
  • Comfort with analyzing ad performance metrics (CTR, watch time, ROAS) and using insights to improve creatives.
  • Ability to quickly create multiple versions of an ad for A/B testing, learning from performance data.
  1. Trends Aware, Iteration Capabilities & Language, Translation Skills
  • Ability to source and repurpose content creatively, maximizing existing assets to generate new winning ads.
  • Quick learner who adapts to trends, platform changes, and new marketing strategies.
  • Capable of delivering video ads in multiple languages using AI-powered localization tools to ensure international reach.
  • Required to speak only English, but must have impeccable English for clear communication and accurate messaging in all content.

  • Strong eye for text accuracy, video clarity, and smooth transitions to ensure professional-quality output.
  • Ability to self-review work and minimize errors before submission.
