Work Setup: Based in Cebu (Priority)

Overview

The role is responsible for creating original, high-quality content (articles, key visuals and videos) for the company's digital marketing campaigns.

Content Strategy & Planning

  • Conduct thorough research on content and consumer trends to define and shape content goals that are sensitive to the needs and interests of our diverse audience.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with brand positioning and campaign objectives.
  • Create and maintain an editorial calendar in partnership with the marketing team, ensuring consistent content production and timely publication in a considerate manner.


Content Creation & Optimization

  • Write, produce, edit, and proofread high-quality content for various digital marketing channels, including blogs, websites, email and social media platforms, while ensuring inclusivity and cultural sensitivity.
  • Produce and update content that is engaging, relevant, and optimized for search engines, incorporating best practices in a way that is empathetic and understanding of different audiences.
  • Collaborate with the Graphic Designer and Multimedia Specialist to create high-quality visuals and multimedia content that align with content goals and uphold our brand's values.


Content Publishing & Distribution

  • Publish content across various platforms, ensuring proper formatting, accessibility, and adherence to SEO guidelines.
  • Work with the Social Media Specialist to promote content on social media channels and manage social media calendar to make sure content is scheduled on the right timing and within strategy while maximizing audience reach and fostering positive, inclusive engagement.


Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Monitor and analyze content performance using key metrics such as engagement, organic traffic, and conversion rates, with attention to audience feedback and areas for improvement.
  • Compile performance reports and provide insights for content optimization, ensuring published content remains relevant and resonates with our audience.


Collaboration & Campaign Implementation

  • Work closely with all members of the marketing team, including the Digital Marketing Manager, Brand Marketing Officer, SEO Specialist, Social Media Specialist, Graphic Designer, and Multimedia Specialist, to create and implement cohesive marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Marketing Officer to ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and thoughtfully supports overall brand strategy.
  • Support the implementation of SEO/SMO strategies and collaborate on integrated campaigns in a respectful and inclusive manner.
  • Coordinate with any third-party digital marketing agencies employed by the company, ensuring consistency and quality of outsourced content efforts, while maintaining open and empathetic communication.


Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated with digital marketing trends and best practices, incorporating new content techniques and technologies that align with our brand values and consider audience sensitivities.
  • Actively seek feedback from colleagues and stakeholders to implement improvements, ensuring all content processes remain inclusive and effective.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, providing support to meet the company's overall marketing and business objectives in a way that respects and values team collaboration


Qualifications

  • Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or any related field.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a writer, editor, journalist or other relevant experience.
  • Experience in creating various types of websites and other online content such as eBooks, whitepapers, infographics, guides, blogs etc.
  • Must have a solid understanding of SEO and SMO.
  • Experience working in a BPO company is an advantage.
  • Experience with IT and/or web development is an advantage
  • Excellent English communications skills - both written and verbal
  • Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
