Role Overview:

We are looking for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented Ad Trafficker and digital display professional to join our advertising operations team. If you have a passion for digital advertising, testing, and optimizing ad campaigns, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Management in Google Ad Manager (GAM):

  • Set up, traffic, and manage direct-sold campaigns and programmatic deals within GAM. This includes defining targeting criteria (geolocation, device, audience segments, frequency capping etc), setting up line items, creatives, and tracking URLs.
  • Strong understanding of implementing 3rd party ad tags, third-party tracking, custom scripts and 1st party ads within GAM to ensure accurate ad delivery and performance tracking.
  • Monitor campaign performance and delivery in real-time to ensure campaigns are meeting client and business objectives, and troubleshoot any issues such as under-delivery, 3rd party discrepancies, creative mismatches, or technical errors.
  • Troubleshooting common GAM issues, such as delivery problems, ad serving discrepancies, and incorrect targeting setups.
  • Optimize campaigns based on performance, adjusting targeting, creative, pacing, and (for Programmatic) bidding strategies to maximize delivery and revenue.
  • Reporting to generate insights into campaign performance.
  • Yield Management to utilize GAM's built-in tools for forecasting and revenue optimization to maximize overall inventory value.
  • Ensure compliance with advertising policies, brand safety guidelines, and industry standards.
  • Manage Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) and Private MarketPlace (PMPs) deals to expand the reach and efficiency of advertising efforts.

Audience Segmentation & Experimentation:

  • Proficient knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Building audiences, segments in GA4, for the purposes of GA4 reporting and pushing highly-tailored audiences into GAM for targeting.
  • Conduct A/B tests on audience targeting, ad formats, and creative elements to optimize performance.
  • Knowledge of DV360 would be a benefit.

Optimization & Technical Support:

  • Utilize GAM features like dynamic allocation, frequency capping, and audience retargeting to enhance ad performance.
  • Collaborate with internal, and external support teams to resolve technical issues and ensure campaigns meet business goals.

HTML Management:

  • Use HTML skills to create, modify, and optimize ad creatives when needed, especially for bespoke and native units.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Generate detailed reports on campaign performance using GAM and GA4, providing insights on impressions, CTR, CPM, targeting and conversions.
  • Share data-driven recommendations to improve campaign effectiveness and support decision-making.

Communications:

  • Liaising with internal teams to ensure they are updated with progress, pacing and performance.
  • Being able to have a conversation with external clients/agencies about troubleshooting technical issues.

Key Requirements:

  • Language: Excellent written and spoken English
  • Experience: 2+ years in ad operations, preferably on the publisher side.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Ad Manager (GAM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4); solid HTML skills; basic understanding of Javascript.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail in campaign setup, targeting, and reporting.
  • Curiosity & Learning: A proactive mindset, with a passion for testing and optimizing campaigns.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication for collaboration with internal and external teams.
