DevOps Engineer

What You'll Do

As a DevOps Engineer, your role will be pivotal in driving the success of our client's operations. You will be part of a cross-functional team where you will design and implement CI/CD pipelines based on established standards. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that software deployed meets quality criteria and project constraints. You will also have the opportunity to develop automation processes to enhance team productivity. Furthermore, you will be responsible for setting up, configuring, and maintaining infrastructure using public and private cloud services.

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines based on established standards
• Ensure that software deployed meets quality criteria and project constraints
• Design and implement automation to improve team productivity and efficiency
• Develop and maintain standards for software development and change management
• Setup, configure, and maintain infrastructure using public and private cloud services
• Maintain service level agreements for systems including availability, security, and performance
• Provide solutions to new requirements utilizing different platforms and services
• Troubleshoot technical problems encountered in assigned systems
• Communicate effectively with different stakeholders
• Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers
  
  

What You Bring

The ideal candidate for the DevOps Engineer position brings a wealth of experience in DevOps practices including change management, automating software development processes, application/software product support or development. You have a proven track record of delivering mission critical systems. Your strong problem-solving abilities coupled with your excellent communication skills make you an effective leader who can mentor other developers. Your technical skills include CI/CD design and development (Azure DevOps, Jenkins or equivalent), automation and scripting (bash, python, powershell or equivalent), as well as troubleshooting.

• At least two years of experience in DevOps practices including change management, automating software development processes, application/software product support or development
• Experience in delivering mission critical systems
• Experience in mentoring other developers
• Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Effective communication skills (Written and Oral)
• CI/CD design and development skills (Azure DevOps, Jenkins or equivalent)
• Automation and scripting skills (bash, python, powershell or equivalent)
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
