Associate, Decision Sciences (Statistician)

The Concentrix Data and Analytics team specializes in providing businesses with critical answers to guide their path. In joining the team, you will have the unique opportunity to work on voice of the customer and market research for leading companies across a number of industries. Working in a team environment, you will participate in fast-paced projects and build expertise in quantitative, statistical analyses, and data mining approaches to solve client business problems.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide analytic services using statistical techniques.
• Utilize data mining tools and techniques in support of programs, database modeling projects and marketing research projects.
• Support the development of standardized analytical procedures for execution of statistical analyses and the use of data mining tools for database marketing and market research projects.
• Be able to convey analytical results to other analysts and project managers within the team.
• Effectively communicate technical data science and analysis in a way that business owners understand.
• Provide answers and explanations to questions that account team and clients may have, with respect to project design, methodology, and analytical processes that are required by a project.
• Assist with light project management responsibilities.
• Participate in product development.
• Coordinate schedule to ensure all deadlines are strictly met.
• Will work closely with Concentrix internal clients and account teams throughout all phases of a project.
  
  

Education, Professional Certifications And Other Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics or a related field from a four-year college or university with three to five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
  

Candidate Profile

• Preferred graduate degree in social sciences, statistics, marketing research, or a similar field that requires thorough background in and extensive use of statistics
• Proficiency with statistical analysis packages, such as R and Python. Other computer programs that facilitate statistical analyses, data mining services, and productivity improvement tools are a plus.
• Must have proficiency with various software applications programs including e-mail exchange, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Understand and be able to apply statistical techniques, such as a variety of regression analyses, cluster analysis, principal component/factor analysis, decision trees, conjoint analysis, and have or acquire adequate understanding of data mining tools, and database query tools.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
